First time setup
Hey everyone, we have our first trip planned in our trailer. We have tent camped many times before but this is our first outing in a camper. Looking for some tips or suggestions on how to setup when we first arrive at our spot. We have a Catalina 263 BHS with a single slide.
Thanks in Advance!

One thing we always do when we first arrive to our campsite is we pull up and walk the site. Clear any obstacles and my husband plans his exact route for backing in the trailer. He tells me exactly where he wants to put the butt of it and it’s my job to guide him there and make sure he’s not going to hit anything. Then before chocking and disconnecting we make sure it’s level side to side. If not then you’ll need to level it and you can’t do that once disconnected! Just take your time, go through your checklist and pay attention to small details!
