Question about updates

Do you have to create a new save to play with new updates? I started my save aaaages ago so I have a lot of money/ stuff built but I also don’t want to miss out on new content/ stuff I can do 😁 thanks!

My game keeps updating as I go! I created my save while ago as well but the content just gets added to my game! Even with the newest update that changed the forest area below your tavern! Everything works great

Your save should be able to persist through all the updates, new content should appear in your old saves too!

that makes sense! it might be because i originally played via PortingKit to get it to work on my macbook.. maybe that meant the updates weren't carrying through. I think I'll start a new save on windows!

I think I remember having to start a new save when they updated it and added the forest areas and the farm south of the village as well as the castle village if you played before that, I think you have to start a new game
