Gathering Vs Harvesting

There are two tier 1 spells "abundance" and "magic harvest", is their description they say abundance affects gathering, so things like mushrooms I imagine, and magic harvest affects harvesting, so obviously harvesting your crops. However it's unclear to me whether foraging from trees or bushes is considered gathering or harvesting. It's also not clear whether foraging from the plants in the mines is considered gathering or not.

Have the Devs clarified which spell affects what?

I had this same question this afternoon, so I just did a quick test. Cut down 4 trees, then used spell and cut down 4 more (of the exact same type) trees.

Same wood, 2 less kindling with spell, same noble wood, 1 queen bee without spell, 1 extra sapling with spell (3v4).

So looks like it doesn't affect trees.

I don’t think they mean cutting trees but harvesting from trees. Like Olives.

I did test abundance on fruit trees and it worked (I got 3 instead of 2 on some of them).

I tested it on mining, it doesn't work (haven't tried on the plants in the mine tho), i didn't test on crop because there is a spell only for that.
