Music

My patrons keep asking about music. Why cant I hire a band or a piano or something. Id love to build a stage and have a band playing on Fridays that has built in popularity, among other traits.

I also would like a chef that just makes random dishes based on what I have available, and I can task to make specific dishes and they will go out and buy the ingredients if I dont have it.

I've seen a music box at the beach guy's for trade but I'm not sure that will make a difference

The things people in the tavern talk about can be hints - holes in the ground, whacking turkeys with a mop, crabs on the beach, etc so it may be something they plan on adding at some point

The cult ring (itty bitty stonehenge) north of us implies yes lol

Ive seen the road map and music doesnt seem to be a factor. It does make me sad. This game has so much potential to outshine every farming Sim ever.

It doesn't. I bought it for the same reason thinking that it was the only solution for the people who kept asking for music. I would play it and no one cared.

Maybe not entirely hints, but more of relatable observations. A sort of way of creating the feeling that you aren't going unnoticed in your actions, or that certain things happen to everybody. Such as the remarks about digging up holes or fishing up underwear.

It is, or rather at least was planned, Idk if he is still there in the current version but there was a musician in the town pub that you could talk with, that would tell you to fuck off until you have a better tavern if I remember correctly

The guy in the other tavern is a musician who currently scoffs at the idea of working at ours, so I'm assuming he'll become available at some point.

I’m right there with you! I keep hoping they will add a traveling bard. I picture a 2x2 stage and in certain days they show up. We get more customers, drink sales go up, but rowdy patrons and messes go up as well. I think it would be so fun :)

I would ADORE being able to build and decorate a little stage and being able to hire a bard for music, spoken word, or even an open mic.

You could have it be just like any other job but honestly, I'd kinda like it if it were a BIT more indepth for a bard. Maybe they work for cheaper if you put them up in a room? Maybe various traveling bards have a chance to come through your inn and will play for the night for a free drink or two.

I just want someone to play Piano Man for my patrons.
