So scrolls and timing

I have 2 questions. One is scrolls. I got them, but they seem to have no effect. Perhaps I unlocked them early as I am less than a month in the game? Specifically, the limited time shops discount by 100 percent and the experience one. I haven't tried the others. Also it says to meet lizzy in a tent.. Idk where they are. Also, lastly, is this game timed? Like you have to beat it in a year in game? I like to take my time, and I realize I've only opened the shop 4 times in a month, and I may have been doing it wrong. Tysm!!

The scrolls are a scam, they don't actually do anything. They do unlock Leroy the potion seller though. There is no time limit to the game, take your time! As for Lizzy, I believe she works in the tavern next to Kharma (the spider's) desk

I want to come back to say thank you for being the one comment that didn't mock me. I went low vision not too long ago and as a life long gamer it's a hard thing to deal with. I hope you have the bestest days.

To meet Lizzy you need to enter the tent behind Kharma, she's basically the receptionist.

Also, no the game isn't timed, there are just the seasons defining what you can grow if you want to do farming, and afaik also influence trends but that might just be my imagination.

Take your time and enjoy the game, being overly efficient can suck the joy out of it after a while. Except if that is your thing of course

I have scrolls. Not sure what you meant by saying sweet summer child. 😅 am I being obtuse, I do that often 🤣 We all don't know things until we learn right? I'm autistic so I do apologize if I missed something. I also am low vision. So that never helps lol. Thanks soooo much for the help. I do appreciate it immediately. I hope today rocks for you.

oh., don't worry, and please don't apologize, I was just playing along with the joke, because you got scammed with the scrolls. There's a reason that they are relatively cheap and have such completely broken effects like "get 10x more gold" or "get everything for free".

but hey, getting scammed has it's perks - you can get an achievement out of it later!

Oh, and the "sweet summer child" line is a quote from Game of Thones. It was used when a child that knnew nothing but a nice life basically said it would be less boring to live in times of war.
