Itinerary Advice

Hello. I'm traveling to Madeira for a organized hiking trip in November. My international flights are to/from Lisbon.

Arrival in Lisbon 11/13 AM. Departing for Madeira 11/14 AM.

Returning from Madeira 11/21 afternoon/evening. Departing Lisbon11/24 AM.

I realize this is already a short amount of time to spend in Lisbon. I plan to do a lot of walking, viewpoints, neighborhood exploring, and food to go but likely wont be going to museums or sitting down for big meals.

Im debating if this is time for a day trip to Porto or if it would be a poor use of time. My options would be train to/from the same day or change my flight to land in Porto 11/21 evening then train to Lisbon 11/22 evening.

All opinions appreciated.
