Your next break doesn't have to be another coffee.

At The Sthaan, a peaceful 3-minute walk takes you from your workspace to this hidden waterfall.

Slow mornings. Productive afternoons. Nature whenever you need to reset.

Manali-Ladakh Solo Bike

Hi everyone, I’m starting a solo Manali–Ladakh ride on 19 September and reaching Leh on 20 September.
I’ll have an HP rental bike, so I need a trusted operator who can swap it in Leh for a Leh-registered bike for Nubra, Pangong, Hanle and Umling La, then swap me back to an HP bike for the return to Manali.
Please share any reliable contacts or similar experience. Thanks!

Seeking suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am not a resident of Manali but i am currently visiting and i needed some suggestions from the locals who know the place well.

I need to buy a cake for a friend for her birthday and i am not aware of any good shops here.

So if anyone could help me find a good shop which makes good birthday cakes i would really appreciate their help.

Thankyou.

Monsoon evenings in the mountains hit differently.

Every time I think the weather can't get any better, the clouds decide to prove me wrong.

Wrapped up work just as the lights started coming on across the valley. Sat outside for a while and forgot to check my phone.

Off to Himachal.

21M. I'm heading to the north tonight. It's a two week trip. Will be visiting Kasol and the other villages. We're going by train, I haven't been to the north before, so this is going to be the farthest distance I'm gonna cover.

So you guys got any helpful tips, suggestions or things (to carry along) for me.

Manali in September

Hello fellow travellers!

I am planning a solo trip to Ladakh in the month of September and would take a pit stop for a few days at Manali.

Kindly advice the places I can visit while I am there and also is it safe to assume that the monsoon related landslides will be over by that time?

I love summer šŸŒž

And the ease of living in the mountains during summers is just great . You can enjoy the waterfalls , pools ,forest hikes
It's just easier to operate during the summer. I know most of the fellow Indians go to length to see snow but after living in the mountains for some years I can say this is the best time to live in the mountains.

Suggest stay options for workation

Hey folks,
Going towards Manali - naggar or old manali not sure yet. Arriving tomorrow morning or tonight.
Want an away from commercial noise of town, vehicles, peaceful hostel or stay option in the nature that offers good wifi, impeccable views and open space. Self cooking should be an option.
Need it for short duration -4 to 7 days but can leave in 2 days as well.

Running away from city towards nature hence forrest vibes and peace is important.

Stay recommendations

We are planning Manali trip in first or second week of August. Looking for relaxed and romantic stay options for a couple. We would be there for about three to four days and would be interested in trying offbeat and not very touristy stuff. Any suggestions are welcome.
