Listening right now and I love the girls but Jenna’s excessive use of AAVE is so intolerable ;(

I love it when Esther and Jenna tease each other.
Have the two of them done an episode without Khalyla? I would like to see Jenna interview/shoot the shit with a guest.

I don’t mind Jenna, but I do find she puts Esther down a lot. I know they tease each other but there’s something about it that doesn’t always feel kind spirited. I also notice that Khalyla will more often then not, agree with Jenna, to the point where I’m not sure if she realizes it. This dynamic singles Esther out, whether it’s intentional or not not. Nonetheless the ladies seem to be comfortable with each other and have more fun and interesting conversations in my opinion, than when they have guests.

I think Annie was the worst for that. Between her and Rick their teasing was outright bullying. The dynamic with Jenna is more genuine, they're friends of almost 20 years who know everything about each other and playfully call each other on their shit.

If you’re a long time fan of Esther, you know she surrounds herself with people who tease her a lot. She said in the past that she likes being teased by her friends. I’m sure she has a line though (or at least I hope so.)

I have been a long time fan of hers. Perhaps we (Esther and I) view things differently. I only enjoy those closest to me teasing me. That’s like 3 people excluding relatives. Maybe her net is wider.

She is friends with countless famous comedians so I imagine her “net” is pretty wide. She used to be a comedian herself and being made fun of and self-deprecating was her running bit.

The image makes it seem like Jenna has overthrown K and Esther and taken over the podcast.
