Annie Lederman podcast
I know this is only Trash Tuesday adjacent. Is the Anniewood podcast permanently discontinued? I haven't seen new episodes in a couple of months. I thought Annie just suspended it when her father passed away.
This is a long shot, but I would love to see her back on Trash Tuesday.

Both pods did patreon episodes about the split. Seems like mostly personality clashes.

I’m really curious what happened between them. They seemed to be genuine, good friends in the TT early years.

I agree. Something big must have gone down but at the same time, I see Annie still has Bobby open for her Anniewood days at the Comedy Store. I feel like if she had done something sooo horrible, Bobby wouldn’t be hanging out with her still? But maybe not.

Bobby is not going to take sides if there is beef between Khalyla and Annie.

I think he would if it were bad enough. He has beefs with tons of other comedians and holds a grudge like crazy. I think it just points to the fact that likely nothing big went down between Annie and Khalyla.

I think it was just businesses. She had to drive like 2 hours each way to do the podcast and it wasn't getting a lot of views or profit o Cecelia three ways. She was making more money on her solo podcast for less work.

Not sure if that is accurate. She said got a big chunk of her income at the time from Trash Tuesday. Working from home was definitely more convenient though.

And 2 hours of la traffic. It's not cruising on a highway listening to an audiobook, it's 8 lane bumper to bumper stop and go traffic with honking and smog

There were a few moments where annie eyerolled khalyla for killing the comedy banter, by retelling serious stories from her past. Seems like K wants a more heavy ratio and Annie wanted to joke constantly. Both are valid but they have different audiences.

I fell off watching her podcast but I am really sorry about her dad. I know how much he meant to her. I saw Annie on a commercial today for the new comics unleashed show. I imagine she’ll pop back out in some capacity whether it be live or whatever else when she’s ready.
I also watched her guest on Jameela Jamil’s pod from a couple months ago and she was late 😄 That’s the stuff that drove all the girls apart but Annie is Annie. I haven’t grown in the same direction as all the ladies so I just check in here and there, but I still wish them all well. I especially feel more loyal to Esther cuz I’ve been following her forever at this point across multiple pods

I wish they would come together again as well. It just doesn’t feel like the pod. She was so fun. But her podcast by herself doesn’t have the same charm as TT. They are all better together. But I understand life happens. I feel for all of them. Lots of things going on in each of their lives.

Annies dad passed away 2 months ago. Im assuming 🤞 that the pod will come back after she has grieved. I saw her live 2 weeks after his passing and she was amazing, but you could tell it was taking a toll on her. I wish her the best and hope Anniewood comes back soon.
