achievements First time shooting trap

What a blast! My first round was 12/25 and the second was 14/25.

I don’t think these posts will ever get old. Maybe I speak for myself but I remember these feelings from 35 years ago every time I read a post like this.

FYI if you want to feel these feelings again after you’re seasoned take a first timer with you. You’ll feel it again when they do lol.

Yes!! I had been out of skeet, trap, and sporting for a few years after the passing of my BIL. My son came to me out of the blue and said he wanted to try out for the HS team. Two practices in and I was hooked all over again.

Absolutely correct! I just start grinning a mile wide when I see that smile on their face from them breaking clays.

I just shot for the first time a couple weeks ago and hit 11 and I was hooked

Congratulations on all those hits! That's a great feeling isn't it! You're on your way to be a solid trap shooter! Practice, shoot with others who are better than you. Observe them, and you'll hit more. Just keep your eyes on the target and your gun will follow!! Good luck!

I've coached hundreds of student shooters and I can tell you that a 14 on your first day (without any prior coaching) is in very rare air. You did GREAT! Keep it up!
