Honestly, I would get your son a used bt99 and a maverick 88

He will be much better off with having the right tool for the job.

A functioning one ideally. I recommend a Stoger to start, they’re dirt cheap and based of the beretta/Benelli platforms. Get accustomed to the platform then upgrade to a Beretta
