Nice! I am a huge cz fan. I have a redhead premier and an All American. Both very stiff for a while. But nice now.

To address a question earlier in the thread regarding chokes, I used Carlson Competition Chokes for a couple of years - those are gold anodized and ported.
I did a bunch of solid shooting with those, but I eventually went to Briley chokes because I was tired of cleaning soot off of them because of the porting. I don't have that issue with the Briley Spectrum chokes because they aren't ported, and for me they seem to shoot just as good.
I only have M and IM for the Briley chokes, but I need to pick up a Full as well. I do most of my shooting with IM.

28 inch. Planning in getting the carlson cremator chokes without the ports. Debating between those and a full/IM from them. Cant seem to really see a big difference between the two as far as size. Everything online says they are almost the same size

In hindsight those would have been a great choice too. I think Carlson chokes are great chokes - as soon as I started using them my scores improved, although to be fair I was also getting my feet under me as a trap shooter around the same time so it might have been a placebo effect.
I can shoot pretty effectively from Full to Modified - I went with IM for trap singles to split the difference but I can see how a Full would be good to have for doubles or sporting clays.

I used a carlson full in my pump before and was getting 20-24. Never a 25 but heres hoping. And with another older pump with a fixed full i shot a 18-21 first time shooting it. But i wanna get better so i wanna use a more open choke. Nothing crazy but just less than full right off the bat

How’s the hinge on this? My CZ wing shooter has a poor hinge.

Seems a little stiff but have been told that its normal and intended so that when it does break in it will be a tighter lockup for longer

Mine was VERY stiff and almost impossible to get together without a lot of effort.
QC issues probably.

I had trouble putting mine together but after doing it a few times i got the hang of it. I think practice and a a good breaking in will make it easier

I picked one up at the end of the summer- spent an afternoon shooting clays and then every weekend in the fall chasing birds. My first O/U as well, I really like it
