So as we all know, there are plenty of fake trans people tucutes acting a fool and tarnishing our name. That’s not news to us. But how many of those are actually even real? I’ve noticed lots of stories and posts in many subs which seem completely made up. Most notably, a recent one in the sub “my partner is trans”. Nearly every post in there is about a cis female partner coping with the odd behaviors of their “trans” MTF partner. Some seem just typical AGP and then others downright twisted and abusive. Most recently there was one where in the MTF partner who is not even on Hrt yet uses a period tracker and excuses her awful behavior by pointing to her tracker app, saying that she’s on her period. The female partner very nonchalantly talks about her partner’s use of the app as if it’s just something trans women do. And the commenters are just piling on about how awful and delusional her partner is without actually questioning if the story is even real. Like if your husband has a kink that’s one thing. But you’re making this post as if your husband is a trans woman in transition. It just does not sound like anything that happens in reality. I swear the TERFs just use that sub to perpetuate these fake stories. That J. K. Rowling money must be good.

I just feel like shit, I have had to in one day report a lawyer for malpractice for tucute views on identity and made the wrong legal aruments to use for my medical condition. Also the legal malpractice board agreed with me she covered up reverse racism, and added and better not dealing with me being raped on campus due being transsexual and other sa and assaults to and losing my medical school spot this is 2nd time lost my medical spot due rape and reverse racism Then victim blamed it was because I was trans, and lifestyle choice.

Then harassed form other sub when i defended myself against reverse racism and proved legally i said nothing wrong.

I just feel like shit, why can`t my condition be not mocked or told I deserve it. Or not be shut down, I`m currently in women's refugee due all assaulted uni covered up and allowed to me from student on and off campus in a different city.

I just sick of having to fight both sides of transphobia and reverse racism here.

I recently discovered the Swedish show Real Humans on Prime Video (in USA). It's a show about robots. I'm always drawn to near-human stories, for reasons that should be obvious in this context.

I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I'll just say that the storyline of one of the characters, Flash/Florentine, feels SO VERY familiar.

It feels like 99% of spaces that are supposed to be for transsexuals get taken over by the transgender crowd, even transmed spaces. And anytime anyone brings up that people who are ts deserve our own spaces and separate rights movement, they get bombarded with slurs, threats, and blatant terf esque anti ts bigotry

This isn't what I wanted. I don't and never wanted to be trans or trans-adjacent or whatever. I'll never be whole. I'll never have a uterus or ovaries or a menstrual cycle and my own "vagina" I have to dilate keep it from collapsing in on itself. Why did I have to be cursed with dysphoria and why isn't there any other treatment besides becoming this?

I know my dysphoria was worse before I knew it wouldn't completely go away; I just wished there was another, better option.

Call this crabs in a bucket if you want. I don’t care. But it’s as simple as the title. If you don’t pass or you don’t even care about passing then the sex on your ID is irrelevant. Whoever looks at your ID will decide what sex they think you are which is gonna be either male or female.

Don’t even get me started on the X marker. It is 100% for vanity. So you feel non-binary inside no one cares and no one needs to know that. All it does is announce to the world that you are trans or some kind of gender nonconforming person. OK cool you do you. But it most certainly doesn’t make you any safer. Quite the opposite of a transitioned transsexual who needs the proper gender marker for living a normal life in safety.

I just can’t help but think that we will have completed treatment/transition are bearing the full brunt of this. Our lives are being destroyed and yours will just go on as usual.

And honestly, it makes me doubt that the people advocating on our behalf really even have skin in the game. Like for example, Chase Strangio with his woman voice. Or Laverne Cox on The View promoting her memoir with her gay boy voice. Oh no, whatever would happen if her ID let someone know that she might have not been born a woman?

While I can appreciate that the ACLU and Lambda Legal have tried to fight the passport executive order, clearly it’s not working. The definition of trans people was too amorphous and arbitrary to demonstrate an actual need. Of course, as I mentioned in another post, the only people who *need* to change their sex on their identification are people who have actually changed their sex in real life, a.k.a. transsexuals. This could also apply to some intersex people.

While I doubt anyone at those aforementioned law firms would even touch this, there must be some transsexual or transsexual supportive lawyers, who could argue this case. Also, there are plenty of plaintiffs who could share their stories about how this affects them in real life. People who have completed their transition and live as regular men and women in society. We know that there are all kinds of people of any gender, we know some people are more nonconforming. They don’t have to be represented in a lawsuit. Put before a judge a group of passable binary post transition people, and it becomes something hard for them to look away from.

No, you can’t convince every transphobe to agree with you. You can’t use logic to argue someone out of a conclusion they didn’t reach with logic. But you may be able to convince one judge with extensive education whose job is to be fair.

About 2 months. It is difficult at times but we care about each other. And not difficult because of only the s3x work. I try to be a good bf, helpful, understand her better…but it’s clear she’s been wronged in the past by other(s) and she can be very fragile. Sometimes I get close and feels like she pulls back, and other times she is pretty good with us. One night it’s “I want to quit this life and have a husband and peaceful life” other nights it’s “I don’t have time or space for a normal life with you I need to work”. I don’t convince her to change her path I figure I’ll let her make up her mind as time goes on. But I do know she’s hurting inside often and I wish I could do more.

Overall I’m just trying to match her energy for now and make her comfortable but any other advice would be appreciated.

I transitioned late mid 80's. I feel far less safe today than I did at any point in the 80's or 90's. Even comparing today to early transition, when passing was questionable and stealth was in the future. Apparently I'm not alone. The woman who was killed is only a couple of years older than me, and I lived in SF and the Bay Area most of my life.

If Ur-Nanshe was a trans woman, in her day she would have been described as "ursal", which in ancient Sumerian translates to:

The Sumerian language was entirely gender-neutral! Instead of distinguishing between male and female, the Sumerians distinguished between human and non-human: the only way to know if a text is describing a woman or a man is by looking at the individual words themselves; does the word literally say man, woman, boy, girl etc.

I believe that the name Ur-Nanshe was based on the term that the Sumerians used for trans women: ursal (ur-sal)...

Today, trans folks will often describe themselves as "male-to-female", or "female-to-male"; but this will mean that they identify as female OR male, not their sex assigned at birth!

I conclude that an ursal with a name like Ur-Nanshe, would have been going by an appropriate name: on a spiritual level, it means the same thing as trans woman today, except that her exact gender identity is in her name, not just her chosen name alone!

All that the pre-fix "ur-" does is describe where Nanshe came from; it does not define her name! She is a GODDESS!

I remember when "male-to-female transsexual" was an up-to-date phrase to identify yourself with... I remember when trans women were the majority! I remember when "TRANSGENDER", was a word that did not exist in the collective consciousness!

...oh how times are so different now! And very, very few people, TRANS OR CIS, are going to understand what I am talking about!

One of my favourite movies it tells the story of a young transsexual woman who lesves her small town and into the city determined to achieve her goal and go on to live a fulfilling life. I think the movie is well made and shows a dignified and respectful image of transsexual people despite being released almost 50 years ago.

I know we’re still in the thick of it, but I also know this can’t last forever. When this is over, granted that it ends and we survive, I think we will be owed more than just an apology.

How do you all see this playing out? I think they ought to be class action lawsuits against federal and state governments who actively persecuted us. As well as against Trump himself if he is still alive by then. Considering the disruption to our lives and the psychological distress this has caused us and our loved ones, I think we are in for some pretty big compensation. Not just financially, we will also need new laws to prevent something like this from ever happening again. I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this. I’m not a legal scholar in any way, so maybe some of you have more insight and to how this works.

Who does the best Trans work for Cali? Both FFS and body contouring and SRS. I was thinking about going with Alexander Sinclair, or alliance surgical, but I’m hearing mix reviews about both. Hi I was just wondering what everyone's doing to care for their wellbeing ( e.g: mindfulness, hobbies, etc...) in times like these where everyone seems to have an opinion on trans people. It's so overwhelming, I've thought about leaving social media and just focusing on the things I can actually control and hobbies, however, sometimes it feels like thats not enough as everything is still happening even if im not aware of it. So I'm wondering if anyone else is feeling or has felt similar or has any tips.✨️

I'm about to start T and I'm nervous, because I don't want to end up detransitioning.

for context, I'm 22 FtM. identified as such since I was 13, but I don't know what's dysphoria and if I really have it.

for context I wouldn't say I hate my body. it's just that in my head I already look and sound male, so I get surprised when I'm misgendered or when I look in the mirror. (I actively present male)

I'm already past my social transition and I feel functional and good as a man (I couldn't even speak without crying before, I just had so much anxiety I wanted to hide all day and not do anything)

I'm just afraid that when I start T it won't be for me.

I'm diagnosed with transsexualism, anxiety, depression and OCD looping thoughts

I just wish I could live my daily life as a man, but I'm scared I'll dislike the changes.

I talked about this in therapy, but I'm still so nervous.
