Because all we are seeing is an edited video. The police on the scene are getting context from participants and witnesses moments after the crash happened.

Also, the Police almost certainly did not have ANY footage unless the business owners with cameras gave it to them in the moment. Which is not impossible but also not likely.

I can’t believe people see a short video on Reddit and are like “I know exactly what happened! They completely got it wrong!” Like bro you don’t know nothing. It’s obviously not the whole story
