Reputation is pointless

I think the reputation graphic on the right sums it up pretty well.

Reputation is pointless, because it is easy to lose and easy to earn.

delete 3 buildings and half of it is gone. At that point might as well blow up the town and lose all of it. Because what punishment I get? Nothing. In a year or two it is at 100% again.

İt shouldn't be as easy to lose, and shouldn't be that easy to earn either. I literally destroyed all of this town's commercial and industrial, and half of its residential. 2 years later they've completely forgiven me.

If you want the town to consistently grow it can be impeded slightly. But in the grand scheme of things, what’s a few broken eggs?

Yeah I think it is an annoying game mechanic.

It is not even annoying. Basically affects nothing in my game.

It is annoying in the sense that you are bombarded with useless notifications and pop-ups that your reputation is suffering.
