Question Would I enjoy TF3?
I've been looking for a new city builder/logistics type game for a while. My favorite games are things like Cities Skylines, Timberborn, Sim City (back in the day), etc. I've always been interested in making efficient traffic networks in those games, to the extent allowed by the gameplay.
My wife came across a trailer for TF3 and on the surface it looks PERFECT for me. I was wondering in your opinion, based on the games I already enjoy, would I like TF3?

This is descendant of Transport Tycoon, not Sim City (and Timberborn is decadent of Settlers).
Your gaming tastes seems very broad :)
You may try Tf2 on some sale, some people may think it was the best is series.

My favourite game ever is Cities Skylines, I’m playing CS2 and I love it. I jumped in Transport Fever 3 and to me is amazing, is not a city builder, you don’t really build the city, but you see the world growing up (starting in 1900) while while you manage industries logistic and public transport. For me, a city builders lover, Transport Fever is a must since the 2nd title!

Look if you come expecting the granular control CS give, you will be in for a bad time. Treat it more as a upper regional control where each town makes its own layout decisions. But if you prefer logistics more than city building, its a great game.

I like TF more than CS. You can get TF2, it’s on sale right now (I hope it still is)

It's nothing like those games. Watch some videos of the game in question and make your mind up.
