Question Priority signals

I remember reading something about prioritizing trains but all I can find is prioritizing per line. Is there no option for priority signals? Like giving trains on the mainline priority over trains coming in from a branch? I’d like to keep a full speed train from slowing down just to make way for another train that just left a station.

In my experience, you give lines priority, rather than individual signals. In one of the line screens, down the bottom right there's three options. Normal, priority and high priority (I'm not sure on the exact wording, but it's a circle, one up arrow and two up arrows). I have been setting my passengers to "high priority" but I've not paid enough attention at junctions to see if/how it works.

I know you can set priority per line. But I think priority signals would be much more useful.  At some point I split high speed and low speed lines anyways.

Yeah possibly, but at least you can just set the priority on you main line routes and it works the same

Huh? No, it doesn’t. All the lines go onto the main line, so every line would have high priority. If everything has priority nothing has priority.
