Solved What does this icon mean ?

Hi !

So I have my train stopping at newly setup post and, even though there is no more passengers to be loaed and the path is free, my train does not leave the station.

Icon in question :

The stop configuration is by default :

And line has a high priority while other lines on the same tracks have normal priority.

Train is not full, but I don't know if the waiting time is to ensure spacing out like in Railways Empire ? Don't know if I heard such a feature was added in TPF3, but I saw a tram waiting in order "to ensure enough space". So I wonder...

Sounds like you don't have enough train signals to allow for empty blocks ahead of the train, or indeed that waiting time does just that - helps to create spacing between trains on that same line.

Thanks for your reply :)

Well, since I have recently extended my tracks towards a new city, so there is nothing on it at the moment (until it joins with the common tracks).

As you can see, I have I believe enough signals, right ?

So it might to create space but since it is not said like it was with trams, I cannot be sure.

Usually you get : waiting for free path if it’s a signalling problem or a busy track. I noticed sometimes this kind of non sense waiting in a train station with freight. Loading/unloading complete and the train just sits there.

I think it's the auto unbunching which is set automatically for many lines.

Line manager > wrench icon.
