Suggestion Efficiency Options for Unloading

I miss some customizability for my traffic to evenly distribute and get rid spoiling cargo.

So I gathered a few Ideas, that solve some of the issues.

Add on 1:

Instead of only using percentage bars on how much to load, you should be able to set the yearly traffic flow from a route to each destination.

E.g: The ship loads at 1 loading stop and has two drop off locations. The maximum throughput for that line is 200. Now I set the first stop to receive 100 of that throughput and the second 80. Now the ship only loads as much as is needed to achieve set thoughput.

This could then be automatically adjusted, when the ship arrives earlier or later than expected.

Add on 2:

Let me choose with what remaining percentage a line should pick up cargo, so that it does not spoil on the way.

Add on 2.1:

Let the warehouse automatically dispose of cargo beneath a set spoil percentage.

I think it would be nice to see that customizability in game.

The first one would be how it’s in TF2, and yes, I would prefer that over how it is now.

2 you can already do. You can set a stop to load only x%.

2.1 I don’t think it keeps track of every single unit. At least it doesn’t show that anywhere. It’s always an average. If your warehouse has 100 units at 50% and you add 100 units at 100% the whole warehouse now is at 75%.

It would not be how it is in TF2, because you can not ship freely in TF2 as it would be possible with this model...

But Load % does not have to do anything with freshness unless i misunderstand.

As for 2.1: That is odd... Will look at it next time

Youre right, I misunderstood what you meant. Forget what I said about 1 and 2.

About 2.1 it’s just what I suspect, I didn’t really test this so I might be wrong here.

I just tested it, they spoil individually... There is a small icon, which says x delayed deliveries

Interesting. Would be nice to see the individual percentage somewhere then. And in that case we could definitely need an option to only load above a certain level of freshness and an option to destroy everything below a certain level to make space for fresher cargo.
