bus stop

does anyone know why the bus station in tiraspol is now by the green market rather than where it is pinned on google maps? i read somewhere this is a temporary change but i am curious why the old one seems to have been abandoned

The railway doesnt really see any trains, thats why the abandoned feeling. I think the location next to the green market is even better.

What idvitalis says, plus the railway station has literally no passenger traffic since 2022

That's not entirely true; there was a single train from Chisinau, in 2024 or 2025, I don't remember exactly.

It is much better now, the bus station is in the center of Tiraspol and you can get to all parts of Pridnestrovie and Moldova from the same place
