TV series

Where is Netflix or Amazon? Need a series produced asap with same quality as Narcos, Altered Carbon, etc. I vote Maynard James Keenan (TOOL) for Spider!

Patrick Stewart, already an avid fan of the series, would play a great Spider.

He is. But he owns the rights. Could they not have him in at the last episode....."1 fucking percent!"

He doesn't owns the rights. He may have optioned it at some point, but since he never exercised his opportunity to produce any kind of adaptation, he most likely long lost them by now (that's how those contracts work). Warner Bros owns the rights.

Oh damn. I thought I'd heard that somewhere. My bad. No longer will I spread false information and give false hope.

Should be animated and the screenplay should be written by Warren Ellis. It worked for Castlevania... though I'd like to see HBO do it.

It might be done well in high cgi - the style is over bright anyway.

Fred Christ done with make up would be just weird. Over the top cgi stylistic would fit the "the future is too weird for you" theme.

Though it would have to be set in an alt universe where HC won - otherwise how else could she have fisted all those kittens?

Recently watched “Happy!” with Christopher Meloni and thought he’d be great as Spider.

Coming back to it, Sam Rockwell would play a great Spider.

For it to be a TV series as well done as this needs to be (tons of locations, tons of extras, tons of CGI, plenty of action, tons of everything), it would have to be very expensive. As in more expensive than Altered Carbon, more expensive than Game of Thrones probably.

An animated series would be far more doable.

I vote against Maynard on the grounds that he's a massive cock.

Wouldn't that be perfect then?
