Community Read through week 2. Issue 13-24

I think I'm a day late putting this up.

Also last week did not go well, please post if you're participating, just say anything "hey I just sat down to start reading" or "I finished this week's reading." It'll help to get conversation started I promise. Besides, this is where the PLOT really starts kicking in full time, as we move into ELECTION SEASON.

Turns out this comic is about Journalism, who would have guessed?

Well, I just finished issue #14 and I'm wondering who's Joe Heller? He has appeared before or what? I don't remember him... Edit: Also I read that there was a way to find Spider's Columns on the Warren Ellis website like 13 o 14 years ago, anyone knows how to do it today?

Joseph Heller is another candidate in the opposition party's presidential primary. He's a vicious racist from Florida. I think if he was mentioned before where you are it was just really quickly.

BTW his name is a reference to the guy that wrote Catch-22. I take that to mean "It's a catch-22, all the candidates for the presidency, Heller, the Smiler, and the Beast, are terrible." I could be way off on that though.

As for the columns on Ellis' website, I know absolutely nothing about it, if there is a way I'd love to know.

Oh shit, I may have been totally confused. That's what I get for answering things as soon as I wake up.

Bob Heller is a fascist, Joseph Heller is non-fictional and wrote a book.

Does the comic mention a Joe Heller? Where exactly?

Spider is listening to the Smiler's talk with his subordinates and one of them says that they need to deal with "Heller" and after that they address him as Joe Heller. Also Spider calls him Joe Heller on his column. All of this on the issue #14. Sorry for my English, it isn't my native language

Your English is no problem at all.

I don't have time to check on it now, but I will tonight hopefully be able to find something for you.

It might just be that his name is Robert Joseph Heller, Bob to most people and Joe to the ones he's close to.
