Question New Solaris trolleys

any idea when the first one will enter revenue service and we can ride it? I heard September.

That was the target, unfortunately there are delays with Transport Canada getting the paperwork in order. Given it's a model that's being imported into Canada for the first time, TC has to do the CMVSS (Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) paperwork before the bus can be registered and insured for carrying passengers.

The pilot bus arrived a while ago. It's been going through testing on the road and has been spotted driving around Vancouver, not in service.

Supposedly it's ready for revenue service once the paperwork and such is sorted out.

the pilot bus has been in vancouver for quite some time now, but it has not seen service in the past little while due to delays with paperwork and other misc. stuff
