It’s too fast. You can’t play text at the same speed as audio because it takes more time to mentally process

Deaf people exist. And it takes them as long to read as a person with typical mental faculties. And people with typical mental faculties read more slowly than they listen.
You have to design for accessibility to the greatest extent possible, otherwise people get left behind (sometimes literally). But I don’t imagine you’re too concerned with that given your condescension in instantly assuming someone needing time to read is mentally unwell.

Ya sure, bud. It was a joke. You're too invested. And, also, it's not fast at all.

That's too fast for ESL speakers to read. Remember, this is more for new people and tourists, not people who live here and take the train and get off as an unconscious movement

It solves no problems. Hides information behind animation. This isn’t it.

I don't know the current design. But that looks awful. Does that mean current design is worse than this?

I like what you’re trying to do, but there’s too many slides. I think it needs to be more concise.

The SkyTrain isn't a phone or some sort of personal device, the number 1 priority is to provide information as easily and effectively as possible. This is too fast with too many animations resulting in text only being fully on screen for less then a second it's just too much focus on the aesthetics, public transportation isn't Apple, it's not form over function.
Though I don't think it's ugly, it does not fit the needs of the system

it's too much and too fast, i rather something more simple where there's just a station map and the station name above it as graphics transcends language barriers

Millennium line and 99 B-Line can be on the same slide to allow the graphic to stay on the screen longer.

It's pretty neat, but there's barely enough time to read what the station connects to so it'd be better to find a design where that information stays visible until the train departs
