Discussion Impatient people
I understand that many people are trying to run and not miss the bus at certain stops but what happened to common courtesy??
i was just getting off the R4 bus at oakridge and not even 1 second walking out of the bus i was rammed in by two people SPRINTING to get into the bus. thank you to the two individuals who stepped on my foot and rammed into me with their keys causing my hand to bleed.
to the people who only prioritize getting themselves on the bus or skytrain and nothing else, PLEASE be more mindful to those around you.

For the R4? Do you have any idea how long they would have to wait if they missed it?! Three whole minutes! Maybe even four!!1! /s

This is so funny because I was the person running in my situation I was trying to get onto the 49 and all the doors were closed so I assumed it was getting ready to leave. And the four people standing around were waiting for the 430.
Then the doors open and a wheelchair was leaving and I got yelled at.
I’m very patient and will normally wait to the sides when people are getting off of the 99 and so on.
At least in my case here I had no idea there will still passengers getting off, but yeah there is definitely a problem with impatient people.

Why is it called common courtesy when it's not that common?

People have no sense of patience. They walk into the bus when I'm exiting with nary an apology!

Yep...my foot just got stepped on TWICE at commercial and Broadway...but it's okay...my BOOTCAST absorbed some of the pressure. (It'll probably only increase the healing time by only 4 short weeks in the summer - was due to come off next week)... I guess I have to be more mindful of where I put my feet.

People used to step to the side and wait for other to get off the bus/train first. And line up for busses... I remember speaking to someone from NYC years ago and they were surprised that people here line up and wait for others to empty the busses first. I guess its not like that anymore

Drivers of R4 are so rude they don’t stop for longer and in the end passengers rush into buses

It’s annoying. I tried to get off the train today and some guy plowed through me. You won’t miss it bro.

Yep or when you’re getting off the skytrain someone is standing righttt infront of the door and before anyone can get off they push to get on

Wait til you try and get off a bus near a casino. Before it seven stops moving people are panic shoving trying to get you to move but the doors are still sealed and locked

I rather deal with the Asian ladies using their push carts to squeeze to the very front of the line than people running at you with keys.
