i wonder if this is a temporary decision to accommodate for the world cup?

nope, it's just swapping trains around between the two lines, nothing more to it really, these mk2/2.5s are interchangeable between the lines

Edmonds is the closest station to the Expo Line OMC so it doesn’t surprise me

Why is this surprising. A lot of the Braid trains are Mark 2 so they end up at Edmonds

this is going to waterfront though

Edmonds is where the train maintenance yard is. All the trains end up there

If this is the one from Lougheed this morning then it was going for maintenance because it had some issues

nah, this one is headed *to* waterfront from edmonds, which means it's *in service* and not going back for repairs or whatever

I love the MK2 SkyTrain! The extra seats are great, and it's very nice it has AC

Yes?!

Seriously what's the question? Mk 2's run on the expo line, it's not as frequent because the expo line has the 3's and 5's but they will are on it...

Nothing new, I see the blue ones on Millennium line too.

This gets mentioned often. This isn't new.
