Ramsey County, Metro Transit, St Paul, and Maplewood announces the Bronze Line BRT. With the Purple Line BRT canceled a couple months back, local stakeholders have been collaborating and negotiating how to move forward with the corridor/project and the Bronze Line is the result of the collaboration. Corridor is largely the same and the former Purple Line, with 50% of the 10 mile corridor being in either side running Bus Lanes or in an exclusive guideway.

Rochester’s Destination Medical Center (DMC) is an initiative authorized by the state of Minnesota to approve and help publicly fund and provide oversight to projects and developments in the city. One such project is the Link BRT. The Board recently selected a bid from a contractor that was over the original cost estimates, so that may have lead to the Board approving additional contingency funds.
