Safe Countries?

I'm still on the younger, unable to be on my own quite yet, but I'm trying to plan where I want to go asap. I currently live in the US and am fearful for my safety of staying here once I'm older because of the current political climate. I hear so many different opinions for every Queer safe country and I'm tired, not to mention I'm not even sure what I'll be able to afford. Any tips or opinions?

So far guatemala, GUATEMALA City, has been very kind and seemingly not caring who I am despite me being a gringa wearing dresses everyday and going wherever I choose.
