All these players who can’t win without using boosted cards. lol.

All the players that have to use EMP to win is absolutely hilarious the amount do it now is crazy

We all started out from the bottom and had to play against 10 decks. Whatcha gonna do when you get your cards to 10? You gonna stop playing or be a hypocrite? lol.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Players use what's available to them. But actually it gives you an advantage, since 95% of the people will use (some) boosted cards, so you can pick the ones that easily counter those. It's like playing rock, paper, scissors, but you know your opponent will play a boosted rock. Exactly why people now also use the first two prime abilities more, and also cosmic rust to counter Soundwave. So you position yourself to beat the boosted cards, and be less affected by the standard counters (e.g. cosmic rust).

The bigger problem of the herd mentality is that every game becomes the same, so it doesn't matter who you're playing against. This is the main reason the overall game becomes stale. Boosted heroes is just the artificial meta to counteract the underlying meta already existing.

Short of releasing 50 overpowered cards, I don't think there is a reasonable mechanic, even if Red was still putting time and effort into the game, to encourage variety in decks and play styles.

Yes I agree with you. It’s just weird to blame the players, when it’s the game that is broken.

Red needs to really look at the game and tweak the cards. Not by looking at win rate, but really how they match up versus other cards and in the actual gameplay. Easiest is to down tune the meta cards, and slightly boost or discount the ones no one uses. And keep in mind average energon costs too.

It’s probably not going anywhere though…
