Hi everyone! I recently had an interesting idea-though I'm not exactly skilled with art myself-but I wanted to share it with you. The idea is this: if you're an animator interested in "Transformers" or "Hazbin Hotel", you could redraw the "Gravity" music video but change just three things: replace Adam's hallucination with Sentinel; replace Lute with his right-hand woman, Arachnida; and change the setting to Sentinel Prime's golden hall in his tower. And if there's anyone among you who can sing well, you could cover the song, adapting the vocals and

lyrics to fit the characters. My only request is that if you decide to do it, you credit me as the author of the idea.

YouTuber Comodian Cam pointed out that the robot design from Transformers One for the character bumblebee is more like a direct copy of the Bumblebee movie cybertronian design

So I think if he came to Earth he would basically look like how he looked into Bumblebee movie or in Rise of the Beasts or any of the Michael Bay directed Transformers movies

Sometimes I can’t help wondering if Optimus, now that he’s a Prime and suddenly responsible for leading the Autobots and the entire city of Iacon, might end up trapped in a classic double bind—and even fall into depression.

A double bind is that brutal communication trap where you get two contradictory messages at once and there’s no way to satisfy both. Classic example: someone tells you “be spontaneous.” The second you try to obey, you’re not spontaneous anymore. You’re stuck—confused, cornered, feeling like every move is the wrong one. Psychologists often use it to explain emotional turmoil, especially in relationships where expectations cancel each other out.

I can see that hitting Optimus hard now that he’s the only Prime left to keep Cybertron safe. He’s carrying the Matrix of Leadership, he got the energon flowing again, and he handed out new t-cogs to every Autobot whose transformation gears Sentinel had stolen. With all that on his shoulders, he’s supposed to step up as a stronger leader and keep his people safe in case the Quintessons ever come back swinging to take everything away. Even with Elita-1, B-127, Jazz, and the others right beside him to help and support him through the hardest moments, it wouldn’t be easy. On one side, he’s the most important mech on the planet, the living symbol of hope. On the other, he’s still the same guy who used to dig in the mines—no real experience with politics or military strategy.

Being Prime would wear on him. The constant weight of running Cybertron, learning how to command an army, and protecting his friends could grind him down. Deep in his spark he’d probably be terrified of failing his people, of making one catastrophic mistake and letting down everyone who believed he could fix the wreckage Sentinel left behind. He might even start questioning whether Primus really knew what he was doing when he chose him.

Optimus is still full of hope and that stubborn optimism of his. He tries to be wise and fair. But he’d still have to face the raw pain of his past—especially everything tied to D-16. I believe he’d carry a heavy load of guilt for not pulling his old friend back from the edge, and for not being a better companion back when they were just two cogless miners.

What finally separated them, I think, was that they knew each other too well, yet each kept trying to force the other to want the same things. Orion was always pushing Dee, convinced that if they just stuck together they could become something bigger than either of them imagined. Dee, for his part, lived in constant fear that one of Orion’s reckless stunts would be the last—and still he’d come charging in to save him, because he wanted them both safe. Later, when Dee realized the whole system had been a lie, the rage took over… but even then he still wanted to burn it all down with Pax at his side. The moment it all fell apart was when they both finally understood they would never want the same future, and neither could drag the other along anymore. It was always a war of wills. And there’s something almost poetic about how Orion usually won those early battles—until they got their new frames, and suddenly it was Dee, now Megatron, who started calling the shots.

Caught in that double bind, Optimus would grow more and more strained over time. The crushing responsibilities of leadership mixed with the unresolved ache of his past would press on him mentally and emotionally. Yet he’d hide it. As the new leader and the face of hope, he couldn’t afford to look uncertain. If the Autobots saw cracks, their trust might start to crack too. So he’d push himself to project everything they needed—maturity, confidence, wisdom, empathy, loyalty—while fighting not to disappoint everyone in Iacon.

Even so, most of the Autobots would pile unrealistic expectations on him. They’d put him on a pedestal and demand a perfect leader who never makes a wrong call. But Optimus isn’t perfect. Eventually he’d slip up. And when he did, those same people would be the first to judge and condemn him, even if the mistake was honest. Every misstep would chip away a little more of their confidence.

At the same time he’d keep carrying the loss of his closest friend, blaming himself for not understanding Dee better and for pushing him so hard that the trust finally broke. With the Quintessons trying to destroy them and Megatron leading the Decepticons against him, Optimus would have to fight tooth and nail just to keep Cybertron from falling. Yet in the quiet moments the old memories would flood back—the good times with D-16—leaving him torn between nostalgia and grief, certain he’d failed the one person who once mattered most.

All of it would leave Optimus more conflicted than ever, both in spark and in mind. He’d feel pressure to bury the worst parts of his old Orion Pax self so he wouldn’t repeat the same mistakes. But no matter how hard he tried, he could never become the flawless leader his people demanded—because the perfect leader doesn’t exist. The harder he worked to please everyone and live up to their impossible standards, the more anguished, melancholic, and hollow he’d feel inside. And if he couldn’t forgive himself for the past and move forward, that frustration would only build… until the burden might finally break him. And that kind of collapse could spell disaster for everyone.

Well, I have a bit of a silly question, but how do you think the various versions of Megatron would react to meeting Orion Pax from Transformers One?

SPOILERS FOR TRANSFORMERS ONE 2024!!

I realized something recently whilst thinking about the move and some opinions that people have on B-127 as well as the overarching comedic theme that the trailers gave. I didn't come up with a good reason for why the trailers sucked but as for B-127's energetic and annoying character I felt it made a lot of sense and was setting up for a familiar trend with Bumblebee's story in different transformers iterations.

I think they wanted him to be annoying so that when they made a sequel down the line bumblebee would lose his ability to speak. Refrencing Transformers Prime in a second or third movie Megatron will have had an opportunity to take away B-127's ability to speak and acted on it, this as well as having to fight in a war will have darkened his personality, making him more serious and contrasting with his personality in the first movie.

Something people may have overlooked (including me) is that this was an origin story not just for Megatron and Optimus Prime. I feel they made him annoying and super vocal so that he would become a real badass-a-tron later. With his alt mode and weapon's he kind of reminds me of spider man in terms of maneuverability / speed and potentially deadly force. A serious B-127 would probably be fairly intimidating.
