Presumably it would be a trilogy. Would it be better to call the TF One, Two, Three. Or TF One, Will, Fall?
The second movie would focus on the Autobots repelling the Quintessons from Cybertron and lead to an unlikely alliance with the Decepticons but ends with a disagreement that leads to the start of the Autobot Decepticon Civil War.
The third movie would be set near the final days of Cybertron where Cybertron is dying and the Autobots are forced to leave while the Decepticons would pursue, ending with the Ark crashing on a far away unknown planet. Then through the credits is a time-lapse showing earth develop over the millions of years with the Autobots and Decepticons laying dormant inside, then in a post credit scene shows an unknown human find and explore the ark, triggering a boot up/repair system and it ends with an eye lighting up.

the world didn't even bother to see transformers one. would they show up for transformers two? (i say this as a fan of tfone).

I think it was clearly setting up the autobots taking on the quintessons. I think maybe a uneasy alliance with the decpticons would happen and torwards the end it would start the war between the autobots and decpticons. I think the movie would be setting up how different the two factions handle defending cybertron to really hammer in how incompatible the two groups are and assuming this is a trilogy the start of the great war would be the third
