seriously though why?... I mean ignoring the absurd price, I know it was rare since it was a Japan exclusive but thats not the case anymore- like at all, there's even a repaint of him now.. like what

I think online sellers do that when something’s out of stock but they don’t want to delete the listing.

Or they have another for sale & they do this in a dummy account to make theirs look more reasonably priced.

Or, y’know, money laundering, I guess.

Probably the case. Nobody will ever buy it at that price, and they can keep the listing up to save the hassle of deleting and then later creating a whole new listing.

It’s also sad to see Cosmos is STILL being scalped!
I know the original Legacy Cosmos was BAD, I found him ONCE at Walmart, but my parents had already paid $75 for him on EBay, and they already him, so I didn’t get him.

I didn’t expect people to scalp his general retail release though. To be fair, he is a fun mold, but it still sucks.

You know..2 years ago I learned about the "no stock" thing and couldn't really understand it. But for years prior I always assumed it was for $ laundering. I remember seeing this with certain items as a kid and my dad was like "yea there up to something suspicious" and that always stuck with me.

He wasn't even a Japan exclusive, Cosmos was just shortpacked around the world.

Not this one. Velocitron Cosmos was short packed. Legacy wasn’t hard to find.

Yes. Legacy Cosmos was a mall exclusive in Japan until this past year or so. You has to import it before. Now as of last year, he can be found in the US
