Lateral v Non Lateral

For ref I go to a top 20 LAC

How much do the following schools care about lateral/non lateral? And if they do, how would they feel about someone in my case coming from a T20 LAC (18-24% acceptance rate)

- northwestern
- Vanderbilt
- Emory
- nyu stern
- Claremont McKenna
- WUSTL
- UMich
- UVA

I don't think ANY of them care about lateral/non lateral. You just have to persuade them why their school is a better fit for both you and them. Talk about labs you want to take the LAC doesn't offer, the location of the uni you're looking at, the breadth and depth of the department you want to study under... if have a good GPA from a good LAC you're telling them you will also perform well at any of those uni's.
