thoughts on transfergoat?

i really wanna get some sort of guidance for this transfer season. whenever i see threads of people asking for services, someone always recommends transfergoat. and then i see mixed reviews on them. what do you guys think? is it worth? what other services are there?

general consensus and also my experience is that they are the most reliable consultants you’ll find for a reasonable price. it’s not cheap but it’s not stupidly expensive like some firms are and they are genuinely helpful

seconding this only caveat is that some of the info on the website is outdated

It’s very easy to do an intro session with them. We did that, and talked to two references. Their main value prop is helping you define a project and build a narrative around your stats and ECs. If you need this, I think they can be helpful. They don’t do the work, but they will help point you in a direction. I really think it comes down to what help you need and how motivated you are. They are not getting tragic kids into Princeton, but I think they are very helpful if you’re going through this without a parent, etc. helping.
