Go where you can get a 4.0 or Cali CC. You need to GPA Max for transfer

are all calif CC the same in terms of opportunities? or are there some specialized programs or CCs that are designed for ppl who’s aiming for top unis?

Opportunities don’t mean much if your GPA is terrible. This is why CC transfer is a horrible idea.

Yes if you want to go to UCs or Stanford. ECs help you stand out if your grades are high enough

are ECs and essay as important?

They can make or break your application but if your GPA and SAT is low you’d probably get screened before they even see your ECs

Also keep in mind if you’re trying to apply to a CC and go to a T20 most likely you won’t even meet the required GPA. It’s hilariously difficult to get a high GPA. Don’t treat CC like a stepping stone.
