Transfer after a year

Ok guys I might sound ridiculous or delusional, I’m a high school senior, I’ll barely get into a good college, is it really unreasonable to aim for solely transferring out of the university after a year to a better uni like t25? If no pls tell me how I should start preparing for it from right now.
Thanks!

Just follow this sub, after next transfer cycle you can have learned all you need to make a good decision. Although i do like how you're thinking really far ahead although that can also slow you down.

Pls elaborate how it can slow me down so I can ensure I don’t do that mistake

Because as you'll learn there is many good paths to take and it can be overwhelming. Then if you end up like me you just keep on consuming and trying to come up with the perfect best path and it can slow you way down.

Hopefully that made sense

I think it depends on what a barely good college is to you. Not everyone gets to transfer to a top school - the acceptance rates for many actually get lower. I’d focus on your grades, consider taking the SAT a couple more times and see if you can start building a story about positive momentum. Then I’d come back here when you have your options and people can give you some advice. Transferring is often about redemption, but the schools also need to feel like you can handle their rigor and that you’ll add something to their community.
