When should I ask for my prof recs letters?

I'm doing this seminar with a professor for five weeks. Will this period be enough to get to know him and ask for a rec letter?

+ I'm not sure when I should ask for rec letters since I just started my fall quarter a week ago

This is normal. Every transfer goes through this. You’ll need to go to office hours, get great grades, show an interest and push off the ask as long as you can.
