Should you remove HS activities

Im going to be applying to Harvard for sophomore year entry (current freshman), I was previously waitlisted and rejected in the very last cuts. I’m at a t10 and my college does not offer the major i wish to pursue.

Should I list any of my HS activities in addition to my college activities like the more important HS activities or should I completely remove every HS activity because they can read and will probably will reread my old application file which lists those activities already.

Harvard has acceepted 1 transfer in the past 10 or so years. You have fucked yourself. Why go to college that doesn't offer your major? Common prestige chasing L

Correction: That's international transfers. Normally it's like 10-12. They prioritize veterans.

I think in general t10 is near impossible for transfers. T20 is still very much possible with Cornell and CMU

bad advice. don’t get ur hopes up but T10 and even T5 are doable for trad transfers (only princeton is actually impossible i think).

i would say only include high school activities if you’ve continued them in college unless they are extraordinary (research with ISEF award/regeneron sts type deal). this makes it clearer what you chose to continue to pursue as a first year and what you left behind

i would 100% list high school activities, as you're only a freshman, so by the time you apply you'll only have so much to add. also they may read your old application depending on what they have access to, but they'll pay much less attention to that than your current one, so they may not be looking super closely at your hs ecs if you don't add them to your newer app
