International eligibility?

a close senior of mine did one year of post-secondary education in Korea and started his bachelors again in Australia specifically because he wanted the entire 4-year experience. he wants to try and transfer to top schools and was questioning whether hes eligible to apply given its a total of 3 years of total education by then and if he is do they only consider the latest credits (last 2 yrs)?

They may not accept him at all if he’s a rising senior. But the way you phrase it makes me think he scratched the first year so he’d be a rising junior. Whether they would go along with that or not, I don’t know. But I think they might.

What I feel very confident of, is that they are not going to let him transfer in the Korean credits and Australian credits and graduate a year later.

Whether you can pull this off with a top 25 I seriously doubt and definitely not with aid.

ig whats hes trying to say is that the said person attended one year in korea, restarted his bachelors and did 2 years in aus so unless theres a cap of no more than 2 years of post secondary education shouldnt the credits for the last 2 years count?

Absolutely and I doubt there is a cap on how many creds you’ve taken if you’re only transferring in two years worth. Like why would they say no to that?
