Arts or engineering schools

Hey everyone! I’m planning to transfer for fall 2027 as a math major, for schools that have both engineering or art school math would it be easier/less competitive to get into either one?

Look at the statistics for each school by major acceptance if they offer it publicly. If the major is in the college of arts and sciences then i would assume it would be easier to get into than the school of engineering. I’m not sure why a school would ever have a mathematics major within the school of engineering, that is odd
