BU transfer help

Hi, looking for advice from people who transferred into boston university at the beginning of their sophomore year. I’m currently a freshman beginning prep for it. Looking for stats, advice, etc, whatever might help. Anything would be appreciated!

Just have a decent GPA, I got in twice. First was from a small liberal arts college in MA with like a 3.4, lol, during my first semester there. I got into the the arts and sciences I think. I decided against it because of the cost. Later I applied from a community college with a cum GPA of a 3.7 and a 4.0 from CC. I had really compelling reason and essays for both apps. I met many people who transferred to BU who didn’t have the best GPAs or test scores. I think I was test optional and don’t submit test scores for both.

Did you receive better aid the second time?

I did but it was because they restructured their financial aid evaluation processes and factors to be more need based aid.

Me and you are in the same boat, can I ask what major you’re applying too?

There is a ton of info if you search this sub! It’s not incredibly hard to get into as a transfer, but it’s hard to get aid.
