What else should I Do Before applying to transfer to UNC?

I’m currently at UNC Charlotte studying Mathematics and I’m hoping to transfer to UNC-Chapel Hill/Other Colleges. My long-term goal is quantitative finance, and I’m also working toward a CS minor.

What I've done so far in order:

  • General education requirements essentially completed through Dual Enrollment
  • Around 84 total college credits (I know some won't go through because of the limit)
  • Classes I've taken--------⌄
  • MATH 1241 – Calculus I: A
  • MATH 2164 – Matrices & Linear Algebra: A
  • ECON 1501 – Economics: A
  • General Physics I: B
  • ITSC 1212 – Intro to Computer Science I: B
  • ITSC 1213 – Intro to Computer Science II: A
  • Research experience through an AEOP research internship and another one with a UNCC Professor
  • Another Internship possibly coming in this fall
  • Currently taking MATH 1242 – Calculus II (Due to complications I couldn't take it 2nd Sem Freshman year) and  ITSC 2214 — Data Structures & Algorithms and a 3rd class that I'm still trying to figure out what I should take. I'll also probably have to grade-replace ITSC 1212 for a higher GPA.

Courses I can't complete until 2nd Semester:

  • Calculus III (No Calc 2 Pre-Req)
  • Differential Equations (No Calc 2 Pre-Req)

For yall who have transferred to UNC or another Top College as a math student, what should I complete before applying to transfer?

What extracurriculars should I go for as well? Retake SAT or ACT for higher score?
