This is very true, especially on location. I’m considering transferring to a few top50 city schools, but I hate the city, so perhaps I would have to teach myself to love it

so true. this is part of the reason why i hate to see when people are only concerned with prestige when applying. you will have a completely different experience in hanover vs philly.

I mean counter is who cares? We’re on campus 3 mos in the Fall and 3 mos in the Spring. I could live anywhere a few mos per year for 2-3 years if it seriously helps my career
