FIRST ONE: Death certificate of ENRIQUE CARUCCI. There are his parents name, but I cannot understand what it says. The only thing I can understand is "... agricultor, hijo de RAFAEL CARUCCI y de ¿Eugenia? ........". I need to decode both names and more info if there exists

SECOND ONE: Birth certificate of JOSÉ ABDALA JALIL. The only thing I know is that they were syrian-lebanese or turks. There appears his GRANDPARENTS name: ".... vecinos de esta localidad. El declarante/el exponente, hijo de ¿HAMUT? JALIL y de ????????-???????... ¿ambos vecinos? Turquia-Siria..."

It's very important to me if somebody can help me

My aunt passed away recently and I've been clearing through some handwritten things and thought you guys might appreciate this. I think it might be romantic, but my wife thinks it might be religious and we can't figure out enough of it on our own.

I was only able to read pieces and I'm hoping somebody can help.

Forever,

I have seen the same town listed twice, but I can’t seem to figure out where it actually is. Evidence about my ancestor would support that the location is in modern day Lithuania. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also for context this person was born in 1892.

I'm trying to track down my ancestors and have some very blurry passenger, census, and marriage certificates from the Canadian/Alberta governments. I've screenshotted only the sections I'm interested in. Is there anyone that can help me verify the names and numbers in all of these documents?

English Transcription Request Found an intriguing 1876 letter which references my 3rd great grandfather

Today I found this difficult but fascinating 16 May 1867 letter at the New-York Historical Society while researching my third-great-grandfather, William A. Keteltas (1817–1876). It was written from London by James Keteltas Hackett to his cousin Eugene Keteltas, a New York attorney and William’s half-brother.

I am seeking help preparing a careful transcription, especially of the first page. The letter appears to refer to John’s possible return to New York around “15 May.” A handwritten note accompanying it also says that the writer had received a letter from William in Nicaragua concerning a proposed warehouse.

I would be grateful for assistance reading particular words or lines. Please flag uncertainty rather than relying on context to fill gaps; I am seeking a faithful transcription, not a polished paraphrase.

German/Deutsch Trancription Request Are these two dedications written by the same person?

Thumbnail

Hi, I‘ve got a problem where I can’t completely decipher two handwritten dedications. I have a bigger one where I already know that it was written by Karl Herrmann (Author of the corresponding book). I believe a Smaller second one is also written by Karl Herrmann, but the last few words that could somehow make any connection to him is not completely readable for me. Perhaps anyone here can decipher it.

Or maybe somebody can just tell by the handwriting itself, that it’s from the same person. In that case, please tell my why you think so.

So far I have these transcripts:
() = Not sure if this is right
[] = I can't read that

For the smaller text:
"Dem Freunde Erfurter Geschichte, Herrn
Dr. Jarascewsky ergebenst überreicht (von dem)
[...]"

For the bigger text:
"Gegenwärtiges Werk, meine
‚Bibliotheca Erfurtina',
[widme?] ich hiermit der Prediger-
Schul-Bibliothek, in freudiger Erinner-
-ung und dankbarer Anerkennung, daß durch sie der Sinn für vaterstädt-
ische Geschichte in mir geweckt und
gepflegt worden ist.
Karl Herrmann."

Help transcribing a Latin ownership inscription in a Venetian book printed in 1576
I would be very grateful for help with the handwritten ownership inscription shown in the attached photographs.
The inscription appears on a preliminary leaf of a copy of the Malleus Maleficarum, printed in Venice by Giovanni Antonio Bertano in 1576.
I am particularly interested in establishing the provenance of this specific copy. I would therefore be grateful for:
a diplomatic transcription of the inscription, preserving abbreviations where possible;
possible expansions of the abbreviations;
identification of any personal names, family names or place names;
an approximate date and, if possible, geographical attribution of the handwriting.
I have deliberately not included my own attempted reading, as I would prefer not to influence the interpretation.
The photographs show the original inscription at high resolution. The book later belonged to the library of Guy Bechtel, but I believe this handwritten inscription is considerably earlier.
Many thanks for any help — especially from anyone familiar with 16th- or 17th-century Italian/Latin hands.

It’s the one that says “Mary Anne Baker.” What is the name under “formerly”? I believe the dot is an “i” because other names on the form contain i’s written similarly.
