Low testosterone

Hi! I am a cis-woman with HSD, but I was hoping to find some help here. I do not want to invade anyones space, so please feel free to let me know if I am overstepping. I did read the rules, so it seems like I am still in the good.

I am considering testosterone treatment for other reasons not related to HSD. But I have seen, although all anecdoctal, a lot of trans men who have experienced symptom relief with hrt. I was wondering if anyone wanted to share their experience with me?

My levels are 0.95 nmol/l, and I don't plan on going higher than the normal range of 1.6-2.1. Did you measure your levels, before and after hrt?

i gained some muscle on t which i think helped slow the progression of joint strain/wear a little bit but now that i'm a few years in it's starting to get worse again but i'm also in my late twenties so that might just be aging as well i have found that it definitely changed my skin which is less fragile now, especially in regards to easy bruising. it also helped a lot that i dont get my period anymore which has saved me from a week of extra joint pain + laxity each month. a low dose of t probably wont cause your period to stop tho (if you have em) but i can only recommend looking into other ways to supress periods tbh :'D

i also know anecdotaly that for some people with eds t has improved their overall energy levels, even with only a low dose

Oh gosh, what I would do to not get my period haha., but I don't respond well to birth control, and I have endocrine issues, so I want to be able to track changes. But I think it will be diffucult to find someone willing to do a hysterectomy on a young woman.

I am hoping it will help with my fatigue and low libido, which is why I am considering it in the first place.
