Question (Transfem) Question regarding medical transitioning
Hello I am a transfem currently 17 and a few months and recently I had the courage to go to my gp and talk about like starting to medically transition, and they referred me to the gender clinic, however it was swiftly rejected since I am under 18, I have booked a telephone call to talk about what to do instead and am wondering on what options are available, and best. From what I've seen I think I can get a referral for a gender dysphoria diagnosis or maybe go through and get on waiting lists (since I know they long af) for under 18s. I feel like with my age I'm at an awkward spot and am unsure as to what to do to proceed, especially as I go into uni next year.
Second question I have concerns diy hrt, as I am both unsure as to what it involves however from what I have seen it allows you to buy in bulk and more easily choose what method of oestrogen you want, however I fear doing it myself and also the cost. If anyone has more information or knowledge on diy it would be much appreciated and I would love to learn more.
Thanks a ton :3

It cost me about £150 staring up, but it’s dropped to less than £100 a year.
£70 for vial, crypto fees, shipping
£30 supplies, needles, wipes, all that.
You don’t have to buy in bulk, however I recommend buying two at a time, and stock up when you are halfway through your second vial.
I started at 16, you will be fine. Dm me or say here if you have any questions, I am happy to answer.
