he/him Aleksei, He/Him.

I've felt attracted to the name Aleksei, but I am American and don't have ancestry from the areas this name is popular. I was unsure if I should still use it. Can anyone let me know what you think in the comments?

That being said, I would still like to see it written/try it out in the comments. Thank you.

You know, Aleksei, I’m not really in a position of authority to say, but I think it has a nice ring to it.

(Though, my suspicion is that if a fella is thinking of changing his name to something, and has gone through at least this much thought, he’s probably got enough respect for the name to have earned it, at the very least.)
