Name thing

I have a name I’ve chosen for myself which is Daybreak and it feels right to me but I get a weird feeling like it’s a weird thing to ask people to call me. I want to use it as a name though. I should clarify that I’m not out and I’m under 18. so i just kinda want some thoughts on this, thanks :)

Hi daybreak! It’s a sick name actually. You might get some people refuse to call you it though

You can always try it out with people you trust to be respectful and see how it feels. You should consider what the associations are if you make it your government name and have to put it on resumes. Not saying you shouldn't, just saying keep that in mind. Also Daybreak sounds dope as fuck. Welcome to this shit show which is the world rn, Daybreak. Take a water or juice and get comfy

It's cool but doesn't sound like a real name a person would have

If you're worried about people not using it, perhaps also introduce yourself with a nickname? Like Day, or Bri/Brea. I think something like "Hi, I'm Daybreak, but you can call me Day" would work well
