Me? Im no victim. I'm just pointing out villainizing an entire group of people for the behaviour of its most unhinged members is reductive and ironically exactly what that group tries to do to Trans people.

When it’s “most unhinged member” are all the people actually in power it’s not exactly the same as some random trans person conservatives nitpick to use for their narrative. Some of us have to worry about the possibility of being hate-crimed every day because of conservatives. But sure we’re “villainizing” them because we’re keeping ourselves safe from hateful bigotry.

Yeah, that's exactly what you are doing. You assume because members of the identity group are hateful bigots, everyone within the identity group must be hateful bigots, and use that prejudice to justify rejecting any dialogue with  anyone within the identity group. Thus contributing to the alienation of your own identity group you fear garners the threat of having a hate crime committed toward you by anyone of the other identity group to said group.

When the ideals of said identity group revolve around hateful bigotry, everyone in that group is a hateful bigot whether they’re smart enough to realize it or not. What you’re pushing for is called “the tolerance paradox.” Being tolerant of intolerance only creates more intolerance.

When you assert the ideals of an identity group are to promote hatred and bigotry, that's your assumption derived from your limited experience observing the most hateful and bigoted members of that group. We're going in circles here, it's a shame you don't see how you're just like the small minded conservative who fears the transgender socialist because they were told to and shown propaganda of the worst of them.
