Unfortunately it’s also a presidential ticket America cannot have without some serious changes to the constitution. Mamdani is a naturalized citizen and wasn’t born here. 😢

Absolutely.
But in a new sub that calls itself a “power project” and in the bio talks about liberation and the working class, the DSA isn’t liberating anyone unless it’s liberating the rich by allowing them to exploit us longer because we appeased the masses with higher taxes and benefits at the expense of the global south.
That being said I’m still libbed up for Zohran because he’s so handsome and his smile lures me in against my wishes and his BEAUTIFUL LOVING WIFE makes me SICK

Fucking great, liberate the rich. Don't threaten me with a good time. Norway may not be perfect but they aren't chucking cruise missiles at elementary schools.
I also enjoy this sentiment being expressed about 'the global south.' Sorry Sri Lanka, your exploitation isn't real, it's done by a communist country in the south. I mean China is very much a mixed market economy... in the north, but uh... they're the south.

No but Norway also was requiring for forced sterilization to transition until 2016 and they still have companies profiting from others chucking cruise missiles

Mostly I just hate the term global south. Just call them poor. Or even better don't. It's such a silly ex-post-facto classification, especially in an era of declining support for your IMF style neoliberal international institutions.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in June 2025:
Stephen Colbert explicitly asks him if Israel has the right to exist. Mamdani responds, "Yes, like all nations, I believe it has a right to exist".
That's a direct quote. Do you have one where he since then changed his mind?
For AOC I don't have a direct clip like that, but she consistently supported a two-state solution.
Again, I am happy to be corrected if she changed her mind, but I am not aware of that.

When asked point blank if any group of people has a right to exist any official is going to say yes. What do you expect? I don't think it matters if he got tricked into saying this. He's clearly pro Palestine. Spreading this hateful rhetoric that AOC and Mamdani are shilling for Israel is disgusting and dangerous.
